Existing Logical Drive
2.4.2. Maintaining an Existing Logical Drive
In step 4 of the section entitled “Creating a New Logical Drive”, if you select a
existing logical drive, then the following menu will appear on the screen:
View scsi drives
Add stand-by drives
Delete logical drive
Partition logical drive
2.4.2.1. View SCSI Drives
1 Type V or use the keys to select “View scsi drives” and press [Enter].
2 The screen will display all the drives currently assigned to the logical drive as
follows:
Slot Chl ID Size(MB) Speed LG_DRV Status Vendor and Product ID
0 1 0 2048 Seagate ST12400N
1 1 1 2048 Seagate ST12400N
2 1 2 2048 Seagate ST12400N

2.4.2.2. Add Stand-By Drives
1 Type A or use the keys to select “Add stand-by drives” and press [Enter].
View scsi drives
Add stand-by drives
Delete logical drive
Partition logical drive
2 A list of available drives will appear. Use the to select the drive and press
[Enter].
3 The screen will redisplay the logical drive information indicating a spare drive
has been assigned.
